High school procrastination is one thing, but the level that procrastinating gets to in college is unreal. I am in my third semester of college and what I have found is that instead of studying for midterms or finals, I always decided to start something new. One time I decided to create an account for the app version of Roller Coaster Tycoon, another time I decided to watch all of OITNB, and I have decided multiple times that instead of studying I needed to dye my hair. So when I was surrounded my physiology homework and the idea of a blog came into my head, I tried my best to brush it off. This time I had enough will power to actually continue studying, but the idea lingered. I eventually found that there were many topics that had come up during the last few months that I wanted to talk to someone about but never either felt comfortable to, or had the time to. Naturally I thought about journaling, but I just knew I wouldn’t keep up with it because the physical act of writing on paper just isn’t for me. Again I considered the idea of blogging and eventually decided to start here, on a familiar platform where I would feel comfortable.
So, things I want to discuss and why.
Mainly I want to share topics that I believe are worth pondering; things that I would like to give myself the space to think about. Mental health, ethnicity, education, and adulthood to name a few. These are conversations to have and to have in a safe space.
